We woke up early and ran to the lab to get Philips prescribed lab work done. The phlebotomist was wonderful; she was able to get the blood on the first stick, something that doesn’t happen that often. We met up with our friend Lorrie and laughed and laughed as Philip discussed how he saves money with coupons. He is quite good at couponing and has wonderful systems in place. We then ran into a store where Phil found a hat. It is really adorable and was a good buy so everyone is happy. The hope is that people will not refer to him as a female.
Thank you again for all of your notes and comments. It is really a highlight of Philips day.

Boy, I know what its like to have them stick you multiple times. Or dig around. LeRoy gives blood every 2 months–he has given over 16 GALLONS in his lifetime. Me? Ziltch. They have trouble getting a little vile of blood out of me, how would they be able to pry a pint?!
