Good news was not in the cards today. Philip remains nauseous and still has a headache. We had been hopeful that his condition would improve so that we could leave for Chapel Hill. Tomorrow will be the day that we speak with the doctors office and let them decide the next move. If he is a little better in the morning we could think about going tomorrow. There is another increase in medication scheduled for tomorrow. I am sure the doctor will have the knowledge and perspective that I don’t have.
Philip remains very sweet, but has had moments when he has been discouraged. We remind him that at some point his body will again become accustomed to the medication. These increases are important for him to get on the transplant list. We treat the symptoms with medication but even that isn’t working very well.
I hated to read that Phil is feeling bad again. Will continue in prayer for him. May he feel better soon.
Hi thanks for this a little good post. But I still don’t understand the last part though! – Sportster
Hi this post is not really good. Can you comment me any related articles?
Sportster, this blog is all about Phil’s journey as he struggles to get healthy enough to make it onto the liver transplant list. Watch in early 2011 as http://www.PatientAction.com converts to a full website dedicated to patient advocacy. There you will find the articles you are looking for.
