Today was a good for Philip. He had a good nights sleep and woke up with a big smile on his face. My friend Sandra called to say she was going to Trader Joe’s and did I need anything. Philip asked if he could go with her and he did. Then two gentlemen from the community came over and Philip went to lunch with them. Philip always loves being with people and the opportunity to get out made him feel like a normal guy. My heart swells when anything positive comes into his life. I want to grab hold and keep it going. I pray for more good days for Philip and look ahead to the time when he will have completed the transplant process and he is living a life with better health.

Testimonials
As an academic, I tend to do major research before every medical procedure, from giving birth and nursing, to most recently, rotator cuff surgery for my shoulder. People grimaced and told me that this was one of the most painful and debilitating surgeries of them all. I was so fortunate to find Lorrie Klemons, who immediately provided me with a list of items I could do to prepare for the surgery, for the family to help me through the time, as well as clever and simple ways to make life easier and more manageable with a whole assortment of tips and ideas. Lorrie's list and expert advice, as well as her warm and loving support, got me through a very difficult time. One year later I am pain-free, fully mobile, and extremely happy. What a wonderful resource!!

Hey guys! Glad there’s some light in your days. You’re all such brave fighters. I look forward to seeing Philip heal and feel better.
Your new friend,
Sara
Thank you for the advice. I’ve found your first point to be most effective.
I admire what you have done here. I like the part where you say you are doing this to give back but I would assume by all the opinions that this is working for you as well.
